Heritage Day.

Heritage Day is celebrated annually in South Africa on September 24. The purpose of this day is to embrace the diversity of cultures we have in our country.

In celebration of Heritage Day, the Ikworx staff were encouraged to dress to their heritage, express their culture and feel truly themselves in an attire that represented them. From beaded accessories, pleated wrap-around skirts, diyele tsa Sepedi, umbhaco, leopard print t-shirts to Liputa, it was indeed a day full of colour and expression of different cultures!

At lunchtime employees gathered to share a meal together of traditional dishes from their many cultures. The day was buzzing with excitement and laughter as colleagues were bonding over their traditional dishes. Everyone was connected by love, respect and culture!
